“Wolf of Wall Street” Predicts Bitcoin Reaching $100,000

Former Stockbroker and the inspiration for the movie “Wolf of Wall Street” has backed Bitcoin to reach $100,000.
In an interview with Fortune, Belfort claims that the flagship cryptocurrency holds an advantage over stocks due to its limited supply.
Belfort has been critical of Bitcoin in the past. In 2017, he claimed that the virtual currency was a “fraud”. He also stated that he didn’t think Bitcoin was a great model.
Belfort has also gone against his previous claim that Bitcoin would require backing from central governments.

Jordan Belfort was a stockbroker until 1999 when he was arrested for stock fraud and money laundering. After serving some time he wrote a book about the event, which was made into a movie in 2013.
