A warehouse worker has quit his job and retired at the age of 35 after a risky birth on meme cryptocurrency Shiba Inu made him a millionaire.
The 35-year-old husband and father bought £6,000 worth of the meme-inspired token and became wealthy in less than a year, according to Fortune.
Shiba has skyrocketed by more than 700,000 percent in 2021, becoming the 9th ranked coin in the world based on market cap before dipping again.
The former warehouse worker whose name was given as Rob stated that he became interested in Shiba Inu after reading its whitepaper.
The whitepaper termed “woof paper” was released by pseudonymous creator Ryoshi in August 2020.
It describes how the crypto currency built on the ethereum network can be used as a currency and a decentralized platform.
Rob who came from a poor background was convinced by the whitepaper and decided to shell out £6000.

The new millionaire claims that he never thought that he could be this wealthy.
Shiba has since dropped to a current value of 0.000051, about 40% shy of its all-time high of $0.00008.
