As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine continues into a new week, the country has continued to take in donations that will be used to aid its repel of Moscow’s attack.
The country has so far gathered at least $35 million through cryptocurrency donations since the invasion began, according to blockchain analytics company, Elliptic.
Also, Ukraine has increased the number of cryptocurrencies that it will accept for donations. The news confirms amid military experts’ predictions that Russia is set to stage a more ferocious attack on capital city, Kyiv.
In addition to cryptocurrency donations, Ukraine has also gathered money through war bonds, with more than 8.14 billion Ukrainian hryvnias ($270 million), received to date.
