PayPal Introduces Bitcoin Access to the UK
Finance company, PayPal has announced the introduction of cryptocurrency transactions to users in the United Kingdom
From today, eligible customers will be allowed to buy, sell and hold Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their UK accounts using the platform
The four cryptocurrencies that can be traded on the payment platform are Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash
Fintech company PayPal has announced today that customers in the United Kingdom can now carry out cryptocurrency transactions.
The company typically known for processing online money transactions will now give users access to cryptocurrencies.
PayPal users will now be able to buy, sell, and hold cryptocurrencies in their online wallets.
The four cryptocurrencies that they will have access to include Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
The payment company has disclosed that this service will only be available to customers with verified identities.
Last month, the company announced plans to move into the British cryptocurrency market after offering crypto services in the United States earlier this year.
PayPal’s launch into the crypto space will likely encourage the growth of the market by offering customers easier access.
