Tesla CEO, Elon Musk acquired a 9.2% stake in social media giant, Twitter over the past week. Since then, the billionaire has been engaging Twitter users’ in discussions, regarding potential improvements that can be made to the social media app.
One of the recent ideas that the world’s richest man has discussed is that there should be more payment options for Twitter Blue subscribers. The 50-year-old suggested that users should be able to pay for Twitter Blue in their local currencies and it should be more affordable.
What is Twitter Blue?
Twitter Blue is a subscription service that provides Twitter users with access to certain special features that regular users do not have. Some of the special features include “undo tweet”, access to ad-free news, and video uploads of up to 10 minutes. The monthly subscription service launched in June last year for $3.
While discussing with a user on the platform, Musk also suggested that one of the new payment options on the platform could be dogecoin.

This is not the first time that the billionaire has shown a preference for dogecoin. He also announced earlier this year that Tesla will begin to accept payment for merchandise in DOGE.
