Crypto.com’s CMO Steven Kalifowitz confirmed the deal in a statement but failed to give any details about the few paid.
“No sport brings the world together like football, and no sporting event brings the world together the way FIFA World Cup does…Only a few brands have the privilege to participate as official sponsors, and we jumped at the opportunity to be the first brand to represent the crypto industry in this historic month-long event.”
This impressive deal comes after Crypto.com signed another sponsorship deal for the naming rights to Staples Center in Los Angeles in November.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup starts on November 21, 2022 and runs until December 18 in the same year. The tournament will feature 32 teams for different continents, in 8 groups.
