Burger King Offers Free Bitcoin in Partnership With Robinhood

• Burger King has announced a partnership with Robinhood to offer cryptocurrency rewards to customers

• The restaurant is set to offer Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin to members of its Royal Perks loyalty program when they spend on the app

• The giveaway will consist of 2 million Dogecoin, 200 Ether, and 20 Bitcoin

Restaurant Burger King is the latest organization to carry out a cryptocurrency giveaway.

The eatery has announced a partnership with cryptocurrency exchange Robinhood, to give away Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin.

Members of its Royal Perks loyalty program will have a chance to win these coins when they spend $5 on the restaurant’s app.

The prize pool will consist of mostly Dogecoin- with 2 million Doge up for grabs. There will also be 200 Ether and 20 Bitcoin available to be won.

Many customers are expected to e allured by the prospect of winning free cryptocurrency simply for shopping.

The winning participants will however have to open an account with Robinhood to claim their prize.

The promotion will run from the 1st of November and is expected to run until November 21 or when the cryptocurrencies are exhausted.

Users are limited to winning one prize a day but 21 can be won during the course of the promotion. Prizes must be claimed by Dec. 17.

It’s not the first time that Burger King will dabble in the crypto world. In 2017, it launched its cryptocurrency- Whoppercoin but that has largely been forgotten.
