Bitcoin has maintained its momentum after a strong run on Thursday pushed the flagship cryptocurrency above $32,000.
The world’s largest cryptocurrency gained 4.7% on Saturday, moving the price of BTC above $34,000
The bounce-back of the virtual coin has been aided by Elon Musk’s support during his recent appearance at a Bitcoin conference.
The Tesla CEO disclosed that he owns some of the world’s largest digital currency and Tesla may begin accepting BTC for payments in the future again.
Ether the cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain has also bounced back from its fall earlier this week.
The world’s largest cryptocurrency initially moved above $2,000 on Thursday morning, before gaining another 4% on Saturday morning.
Other virtual currencies such as Binance Coin, Cardano, Ripple, and Dogecoin are also up by more than 2% each in the last 24 hours.
The global cryptocurrency market is also up from yesterday, gaining 4.38% to move to $1.39 trillion.
