Hi, I’m Kome and I’m a crypto newbie.
You’ve probably heard a lot already about cryptocurrency, maybe you’ve even dabbled a little but it all still seems like a blur. You may still be wondering what the fuss is all about and that’s ok, we all started somewhere. You’re never too late when it comes to learning.
Guess what? I used to be just like you until about a year ago when a friend asked that I help edit this book he’d written on cryptocurrency. I hadn’t really bothered with crypto before that but I thought, if it’s important enough to write a book about, then I should probably pay attention.
A few months later, I started working at a company that insisted on paying salaries with cryptocurrency. That sort of forced me to take it seriously. I began to do research. What fascinated me was that crypto is not just about “digital money”. Even though that’s a huge part of it, there’s still a lot of relatively unexplored parts like the blockchain, NFTs, gaming, and digital environments. I discovered that the possibilities are endless.
Admittedly, I am far from being an expert on cryptocurrency. Just like you, it’s all so new to me. But it is a very important subject. One that’s redefining the world we know and live in. So, I decided to do some digging for you (for us). That’s why we’ve created this series, Crypto for Newbies. Just one learner learning with another learner so together, we can do better.
