Lagos Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi stated this while revealing that he felt body pain and headache after using the vaccine.
He added that the next day he felt burning pains, cold, and pain on the injection spot but it all went away after he used Panadol and went to bed.
This is coming after reports that they were people who experienced serious side effects after the use of the COVID vaccine in Lagos.
8 European countries also reportedly banned the vaccine after many recipients experienced blood clots.
The Minister, however, maintained that the side effect differs and some people might not feel anything at all.
The Federal government also released a statement saying that the vaccine received was not part of the bad batch collected by European countries.
The World Health Organization also urged countries not to discontinue the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine as there was no link between the vaccine and reported blood clots
