Since the disease breakout in February 2020, a total of 1,912,628 tests have been carried out across the country
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has disclosed that the country has 10,014 active COVID cases in the country.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 165,055 since the start of the pandemic.

62 new cases were recorded on the 29th of April less than 81 cases recorded the previous day.

The NCDC also announced that it has carried out 1,912,628 tests since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Nigeria has been recovering well from the pandemic since vaccination began in various parts of the country.

The country is set to deliver the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine from the 28th of May, 2020.
The country has also revealed plans to restrict inbound travelers from countries like India, Turkey, and Brazil to limit the spread of the virus.
