Kwara has used the most proportion (94.9) of its allotted vaccine, vaccinating 26,463 people across the state.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has vaccinated 18,080, using 16.5% of its proportion.

Kogi state is the only one that is yet to vaccinate a single individual.

The latest report shows an improvement from what NPHCDA reported on Friday.

The agency had reported that only 9.5% of Nigeria’s vaccine had been used, with a total of 374,585 people being vaccinated.

Nigeria received its share of the AstraZeneca COVID vaccine earlier this month from the WHO’s COVAX initiative.

Nigeria is yet to record any death or serious side effects from the use of the vaccine, according to the health minister.
