
Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun Becomes The First Governor To Take COVID Vaccine
-The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun has received the COVID-19 vaccine today
-The Governor was administered the vaccine at Governor’s office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta
-The State received 50,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine from Abuja
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun has become the first governor to be administered the COVID-19 vaccine after he received a dose at the Governor’s office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

Apart from the governor, his deputy was also administered the vaccine along with 2 other frontline health workers.
After taking the vaccine, the governor urged others to do the same. He stated that the virus can only be overcome if people work together.
Ogun state received 50,000 does of the AstraZeneca Vaccine from Abuja, becoming the first state to receive it.
The Governor revealed that the vaccine will now be distributed across 236 wards of the 20 local government areas in the state.

There was good news for Nigeria in the country’s battle against Coronavirus as 3,924,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were shipped into the country.
Nigeria is expected to receive another shipment of the vaccine from the World Health Organization’s COVAX in the coming months.
