Former President of the United States, Barack Obama announced on Sunday that he has tested positive for COVID 19. He disclosed via his Twitter account that he had a scratchy throat due to the disease but other than that, he was feeling fine.
Obama also disclosed that his wife, Michelle Obama, the former first lady had however tested negative for the virus. According to the post, Barack and Michelle are vaccinated against the disease, with both haven received booster shots against the virus.
“I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple of days, but am feeling fine otherwise. Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted”. It’s a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven’t already, even as cases go down.

It is expected that the ex-president will go into isolation pending the time that he recovers from the virus.
