Garry Turner: Meet Superhuman With Elastic Skin
Superhumans might seem like something you see only in storybooks and movies but they do really exist.
We’re about to prove it to you with the tales of elastic man Garry Turner.

What’s super about Garry? Well, he’s capable of stretching his skin to extents that are far beyond normal.
Who’s Garry Turner?
Mr Turner is a circus performer and he is in the Guinness World Records for having the stretchiest skin in the world.
How is Gary able to do all this?
This Superman suffers from an extreme form of the Ehlers Danlos syndrome.

This is a disease that makes the joints and skin of a person elastic and flexible.
While this might seem like a cool ability, it has its downside. Gary suffers from a lot of joint pains.
What would be regarded by many as a disability was turned into a source of livelihood for the circus performer.
Growing up
Garry Turner was born in Lincolnshire, England in 1971.

His parents weren’t aware of his condition immediately after his birth and his midwife only stated that he had loose skin.
Garry Turner’s performance and record
In 1999, Gary stretched the skin on his stomach to a record length of 6.25 inches, beating a record of elasticity that was previously held by Thomas Hasnip.
