Two men in Houston were in a Tesla 2019 model when it ran into a tree.
Police authorities have revealed that the car may have been on autopilot based on the sitting arrangement of the deceased.
The police also had a tough time putting out the fire and even had to call Tesla for help.

Although claims that the vehicle was on autopilot were not confirmed, the news has resulted in a 3.8% drop in Tesla stocks.
The drop in Tesla shares also caused Musk to lose $5.7 billion within 24 hours.

The CEO, Elon Musk has denied claims that the vehicle was on autopilot.
Musk believes that the Wall Street Journal did not cover the incident in a professional manner.
