The record for the largest metaverse land acquisition has been broken after a virtual land was purchased for $2.43 million.

The Metaverse Group which acquired the land has described itself as the world’s first virtual real estate company.

The firm focuses on buying, developing, and selling real estate property in the metaverse.

Speaking about the acquisition, CEO Andrew Kiguel said:

“We are happy to make history by closing the largest public metaverse land acquisition to date,”
