Users don’t have an excuse not to send you money on Twitter any more after the social media app released a tip feature.
Twitter launched its latest feature called Tip Jar that allows you to send and receive money from other tweeters.
Upon its launch, Twitter claimed that it is a way for users to show and receive support via money.
Twitter’s new feature will utilize payment platforms like PayPal, Venmo, Patreon, CashApp, and many others.
Users can like their Twitter account to any of these payment platforms and Twitter receives no cut.
Twitter’s Tipjar is not yet available to all users.
You can identify an account that has the tip-jar feature when you see an icon next to the follow button.
Once you click on the icon, you will see a list of payment platforms that the user has connected, and proceed to make payment.

Asides from Tip Jar, Twitter also introduced a no-crop feature where users’ photos are not cropped.
The features launch is part of the social media company’s plan to have 315 million users by 2023.
