Sandouping, China

Sandouping is known as the home to the world’s largest electricity plant but it barely existed 60 years ago.

The city contains the Three Gorges Dam that supplies 22,500 MW of electricity.

This area was previously a small village until after the construction of the dam then 40,000 workers came to live there. It has since developed from there.

Incheon, South Korea

Incheon is one of South Korea’s great cities. In fact, It is the third-largest city in the country.

This area with a population of over 3 million people did not start becoming a modern city until 1994.

Incheon is now one of the most technologically advanced parts of the world and this development only started in 1994.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Dubai is one of the most visited cities in the one. Even Nigerians can attest to this because almost 200,000 Nigerians visit Dubai yearly.

Everything about this great city wasn’t put in place until 1971 when Dubai gained its independence.

Dubai used to only be a desert with a few people inhabiting the area but now it has a population of over 2.1 million residents with some of the tallest skyscrapers the world has ever seen.

Doha, Qatar

Doha is the capital of Qatar, which was named the world’s richest nation in 2013.

Qatar has developed greatly over the years which is why its capital is among the great cities of the world.

Doha was only declared a city in 1963, and thanks to Qatar’s vast oil deposits, it has many breathtaking structures and huge plans for the future.
