Former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has told protesters to cease the nationwide campaign to #ENDSARS.

The APC magnate stated that the protesters have made their demands known and the government needs to take some time to review them. He affirmed that what the youths require now is restraint in allowing the government to do their job. 

Tinubu also debunked rumors that he is a sponsor of the protest, seeing as the protest has blocked main entries into Lagos state and led to economic problems for the state.

The protest also seems set to go into a new week after the youths claimed that they are yet to witness any any action from the government in terms of police reform. The government officially dissolved the special anti-robbery squad and are set to move on to implementation of the 5 point demand.
