Kidnappers Demand Additional N10 million for the release of Abuad Graduate

Kidnappers have demanded an additional ransom of N10 million for the release of a graduate being held hostage in Calabar.

The victim, Charles was abducted on September 1, is a graduate of the Engineering department at Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State. He was nabbed along with Goldie by Mount Zion in Calabar at 9:30 pm.

The young man is yet to be released even though his family met the demands for his release 11 days ago.

The victim’s brother went public with the information, stating that his brother was kidnapped in the front of their home. He also stated the kidnappers are demanding an additional N10 million for his release after receiving some money already.

The victim’s brother, Wonder Tommy also stated that the kidnappers contacted his father and they agreed at some amount which was paid on Friday, September 11.

Wonder also revealed that the kidnappers refused to let them speak to his brother even after paying the initial sum.

ABUAD Alumni has gone on to demand the release of the young man. They requested assistance from security agencies in Cross River to find Charles and the perpetrators of the crime.
