FG Extends Time For NIN-Sim Linkage
-Federal Government has extended the Nin-Sim linkage deadline by 8 weeks
-The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy disclosed that the new registration deadline is April 6, 2021
-The 8 weeks extension will allow people who are yet to register for Nin some additional time
The Federal Government has extended the time for Nin and Sim linkage by 8 weeks.
Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami disclosed on Tuesday morning that the new registration deadline is April 6, 2021.

Pantami passed this message during a meeting with the Ministerial Taskforce on NIN-SIM registration.
The initial deadline for linkage of NIN and sim was December 30, 2020, as announced by the FG.
All sims not linked with an identification number will be blocked at the deadline.
An extension was given for another 3 weeks to January 19 2020 when several people failed to register for NIN.
Now you have an additional 8 weeks to get your registration done and link it with your sim.
