
Some local farmers based in Kaduna State have been arrested for poisoning two cows
Samuel Aruwan, the State Commissioner For Internal Security And Home Affairs gave the update on Sunday January 10
He suspects were arrested by Soldiers at Gindin Dutse village of Jema’a local government area.
Soldiers in Kaduna State have arrested some local farmer in connection to the deliberate poisoning of a herd of cattle.
The action according to report has led to the death of two cow, Samuel Aruwan the State Commissioner For Internal Security And Home Affairs revealed on Sunday while giving updates on the security situation of the state.
The commissioner disclosed that soldiers arrested the farmers after suspecting him of poisoning cattle in Gindin Dutse village of Jema’a local government area.
Giving more detail, Aruwan said that two cows after eating some poisoned cassava on a farm died. Accordingly, troops traced and apprehended the farm owner who is now undergoing preliminary investigations,
