Anthony Joshua

Former heavyweight champion AJ found himself outfought and defeated by an amazing performance from the 34-year-old Ukrainian.

Although Joshua was battered and left with a suspected damaged eye socket, the British boxer is already preparing for revenge.

Hearn claimed that Joshua is already talking about training and he’ll be prepared to get back in the ring with Usyk again in no time.

‘He will want to go back in that rematch, and he will be the underdog in that fight but he has just been beaten by a pound-for-pound great,’
‘Joshua lives and breathes boxing, he is already talking about training again and he will be in the gym and ready to get back in again.’

Hearn disclosed that Anthony Joshua will be looking to make changes and impose his style to win the match.

Usyk started strongly in London, imposing himself strongly with heavy blows in the first three rounds.

The new heavyweight champion also dominated the final round and many would have suggested that he was close to knocking AJ out.

By securing this win Oleksandr Usyk becomes only the third man to become world champion in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions.
