
Nigeria dominates the list of 2020 most influential young African recently announced by leading PR & Rating firm, Avance Media and Africa Youth Awards have announced the 5th annual publication of the 100 Most Influential Young Africans list for 2020. The list is curated to recognise young Africans for their outstanding contributions towards the development of Africa in a diverse range of field.

It recorded 51 males and 49 Females represented from 29 different African countries with popular faces from the music industry, football, entertainment, business and the science department meanwhile Nigeria recorded the highest representation with 21 young achievers, with Ghana, Kenya and South Africa also recording a representation of 10 young people each.
The number one spot is been held by a Nigerian Doctor who goes by the name Dr Abasi Ene-Obong.

Born in Nigeria, Abasi has extensive experience operating in the US, UK and Nigerian healthcare industries. Prior to 54gene, Abasi worked with leading healthcare organizations, including Fortune 100 pharmaceutical.
