There was a fire outbreak at the headquarters of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) at Ikotun Lagos state on Monday night.

The Punch reported that the fire started at 11 PM and the church’s storehouse was majorly affected.

Coincidentally, this accident happened on the night of the candle procession in honour of the late founder, TB Joshua.

Members of the church who were gathered for the procession could only watch was the building was consumed.

Although the fire service arrived around 12:19 am, the fire had been put out before their arrival.

According to an eyewitness in the church, the fire was caused by an electric spark in the control room and it happened after the procession.

The church has confirmed the fire in a statement released, stating that there were no casualties.

The Synagogue Church of All Nations has also announced that the funeral of late founder TB Joshua will proceed despite the fire.

Services have been scheduled throughout the week to celebrate the life of Prophet TB Joshua.

The prophet, philanthropist, and founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations died on June 5, just some days shy of his 58th birthday.
