A woman identified as Obiageli Ezeanowiyi has been arrested by security operatives attached to the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly killing her church member with her car. Woman crushes church member to death.
According to reports making the rounds, the accident occurred while Ezeanowiyi was driving and making a phone call at Jakande Estate junction at Oke-Afa, Isolo area of the state, close to St. Peters’ Catholic Church, where both of them worshipped.

Confirming the incident to newsmen, the state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Chike Oti, said the remains of the deceased, a mother of three who hailed from Mbano in Imo State, have been taken to Isolo mortuary for autopsy report.

Speaking further, the police spokesperson said, “Obiageli Ezeanowiyi has been detained after reporting herself to the Police.

“The suspect, Ezeanowiyi, is in Police custody and investigation is still ongoing and she will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded,” the spokesperson added.
