Popular Ugandan Prophet, Elvis Mbonye, has caused another stir on social media after worshippers were seen kissing his gold shoes recently. Prophet Elvis sits on gold throne.

An audience of over 500 people gathered at the Kololo Independence Grounds to honour the Prophet on his birthday on Friday. At the event, members of the congregation were seen kissing Mbonye’s shoes.

Prophet Elvis sits on gold throneReports say those who wished to attend his birthday which was held in a dinner setting, had to pay at least UGX 300,000. Considering that the lowest price to attend this function was 300k, this was by all standards a good turn up. Platinum tickets were going for 1million, Gold 750k, Silver 500k and general happiness 300k.

Recall that Prophet Mbonye’s ministry started off at Theatre La Bonita before his congregation grew leading him to Imperial Hotel next to Serena, Aya, Kololo and now at Kyadondo Rugby grounds.
