Pastor Adeboye has touched more lives than politicians – Obasanjo
Erstwhile President Olusegun Obasanjo has showered encomiums on the General Overseer, G. O (Worldwide) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye. According to Obasanjo, the cleric has touched more lives than Nigerian politicians. Pastor Adeboye has touched more lives than politicians – Obasanjo.
Obasanjo, fondly called OBJ, made this known while delivering a speech at the book presentation of “Pastor E.A. Adeboye: His Life and Calling” which held recently at the Auditorium of the RCCG Youth Centre.

In his words, the former president said, “As a politician, we are supposed to touch lives, but for Pastor Adeboye, he has touched more lives than politicians. He has been a man of God with a difference, whom I benefited from personally when I was consulting to contest the 1999 election,” Obasanjo added.
Meanwhile, on Saturday at the Apostolic Faith Church Camp Meeting Concert in Ogun State, Obasanjo said he wants to go to heaven.
He said, “You have to be fully prepared for the second coming of our Lord, there is no compromise.

“I have a friend who will always say that when we get to heaven, we will be exhausted praising God and it will be like a prison and very boring. Jesus Christ came to the world to show us the way to salvation and eternal life. We have a good heritage and we have everything to be proud of.”
