
President Muhammadu Buhari’s nationwide broadcast has generated mixed reactions and sprung up controversies among Nigerians, particularly social media users. Nigerians react to Buhari’s nationwide broadcast.
This comes after the President, in a six-minute-17-second speech, promised to hit the ground running by doing some things that will be the ‘Change’ he promised.
Nigerians react to Buhari’s nationwide broadcast
Recall that following his return to Nigeria after his medical trip to London, President Buhari outlined no fewer than five things he will do to continue to make Nigeria great. He made this known on Monday morning in a much publicized nationwide broadcast. The speech, which did not last up to 10 minutes, addressed issues majorly bordering on security and also the wrong use of social media in spreading fake news. See HERE.
However, Nigerians have reacted with mixed feelings to the President’s address. Some of the reactions on Twitter were positive, with some users happy with Buhari’s return after over 100 days away but others were furious with the brevity of the speech and were left uninspired.
