The Lagos State Police Command has denied arresting popular intersexual cross-dressing bleaching advocate, born Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky. Lagos CP denies arresting Bobrisky.

Lagos CP denies arresting Bobrisky
Reports had it that self-acclaimed Nigerian snapchat king/queen was arrested on Tuesday 7, 2017 in the Lekki area of Lagos State and there had been speculations surrounding his arrest.
Meanwhile, there were also strong indications that his arrest may be related to the fact that he openly declared he was gay. According to a version of the report, his arrest came after he openly admitted he was gay, a post which he later deleted. Read up full gist HERE.
Following his alleged arrest in Lagos, Bobrisky was reportedly transferred to Abuja but before his transfer, he revealed that Toyin Lawani, is behind his ordeal, just like it was speculated, since there had been a lingering social media war between the socialite and entrepreneur, Lawani. may have led to his arrest. Lawani has, however, denied the allegations through one of her assistants.

Bobrisky said he was arrested after he refused to publicly apologize to Ms. Lawani, following their recent spat. He claimed the police petition was filed against him in Abuja and that is why he is being moved to the nation’s capital. He said, in the petition, Lawani claimed that he threatened her.
But the Acting Lagos Commissioner of Police, CP, Edgal Imohimi, has distanced the command from Bobrisky’s arrest.
According to Edgal, no report was made against him, hence, no arrest was needed.
In a chat with the Punch, the CP said, “I don’t know about the arrest, and the command did not arrest him. He does not have any problem with the command. Ask him who arrested him.”
Also, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO for Zone 2 Command, Onikan, Lagos, SP Dolapo Badmos, denied the arrest of the cross-dresser, saying: “I am not aware of the arrest. Maybe he was arrested somewhere else.”
