A certain Nigerian lady has narrated her experience with Faith Academy. Lady asked to submit her ‘tithe card’ during employment process in Faith Academy.

Faith Academy is a secondary school owned by Living Faith Church also known as Winners Chapel.

A young man identified only as Ugo ‘helped’ the lady share her experience on social media.

According to Ugo, the job seeker who goes by the name Cupofcoffee_xo, was asked to submit her Winner’s Chapel ‘tithing card’ while looking for job at Faith Academy.

Lady asked to submit her 'tithe card' during employment process in Faith AcademyUgo said he could not contend with the matter, hence, displayed it on social media for Nigerians to advise.

After Ugo tweeted this, the job seeker responded to the tweet.

She shed more light on the issue.

We don’t know how true this is yet since we only have reports from one party.

While the Church’s institution is ye to respond to the allegation, recall that applicants searching for jobs in Nigeria are often subjected to all sorts of things.

This one in particular is actually very shocking and unheard of; I mean who does that?

Cupofcoffee_xo confirmed the news by stating what really transpired there.

The young lady said if you are not a member of the church and pay tithe there, you do not stand a chance to gaining employment.

But, is this really true?

If religious sanctimony now overrules and takes precedence over general issues, then it is really sad to know.

To even hear of this, is an embarrassment. Have things finally degenerated to this level in our country?

We sampled the tweet that has got tongues wagging in controversies.
