The Rivers State Police Command has arrested a member of a notorious kidnap gang, identified as Roland Peter, for alleged murder. Kidnapper prepares assorted pepper soup with victim’s intestines.
According to reports, the suspected cannibal was said to have beheaded his victim and allegedly used the liver and intestines of his victim to prepare ‘assorted’ pepper soup and plantain pottage for himself and his gang.

The Punch is reporting that the suspect was among the kidnappers that abducted, killed and beheaded one Pastor Samuel Okpara from Edoha in Ahoada East LGA of the state on August 15, 2017.

Confirming the report, the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, CP, Mr. Zaki Ahmed, spoke with newsmen while parading Peter and 22 other suspects at the State Command in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

The CP explained that the suspect was also in possession of rifles belonging to the gang.
According to the CP, the kidnap gang, including the leader, who was simply identified as Justus and also known as High Tension, had been terrorising some part of Ahoada East LGA.

“Peter is helping the police in their investigation,” the Police Commissioner stated.
