There are indications that the marriage between Nollywood couples, Iretiola and Patrick Doyle has allegedly hit the rocks, as the couple are reportedly no longer living together. No one ever thought this would happen and no one saw it coming either, but it has happened that the duo has separated. Ireti Doyle reportedly moves out of husband, Patrick’s house.
According to reports on FlipTV, it is unclear why their marriage hit the rocks but the duo peacefully separated and remain friends. With over two decades of marriage, a source close to Patrick and Ireti, hinted they are no longer living together. The Tinsel star, FlipTV checks revealed has since moved into a new apartment in Anthony Village area of Lagos, living far away from her veteran broadcaster and actor husband and children.

Though the estranged couple is yet to issue any statement due to what FlipTV source claimed they are taking respectful and loving space at this painful time. They have been in the rocks for a while and stopped having shared interests.
But when the Punch reached out to Ireti, she said in a calm and collected voice, “I understand what you want to say. But I’m driving right now and I’m not using an earpiece. I suggest that you call me later or send me a text message containing your questions and I would respond to them.”
It was gathered that the couple had allegedly fallen out of love for some years and were going only through the motions. This was buttressed by the fact that they have not been seen together in public for a long time, unlike what obtained in the past when they attended all events as a couple.

Recall that some months ago, the Tinsel star gave a reason she no longer stepped out with her husband.
She said: “We are both busy people and you find that, in any one given weekend, we’ve both been invited to three or four different events where all three or four people are expecting to see us so we play it smart, we share it; if you’ve seen one you’ve seen the other.”

Iretiola and Patrick Doyle got married shortly after the actor lost his first wife to sickle cell anaemia in 1999. A decade later, he lost his son Raymond with first wife to same illness. The couple has six children between them.
