
Controversial Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike has revealed that he was begged by some concerned industry operators to return to the movie industry. This disclosure follows his return to the big screen after going off the radar for a while. I was begged for 2 years to return to acting – Emeka Ike reveals.
In a telephone chat with HVP, the actor explained why he returned to acting, saying ‘the producer’ has been on his neck for two years now after which he decided to oblige him his request.

He said, “He has been begging me to star in his film for two years now. At a point, I decided to oblige him his request.”
Ike is one of the prolific actors who is known for his roles as playboy or Casanova in Nollywood movies. He also has been tagged as one of Nollywood’s ‘Bad boys’ due to playing movie roles of a man who gets physical, abuses women.
His first major role was in the movie ‘Deadly Affair’ in 1987. According to Ike, he has no idea of the precise number of movies he has featured in. However, it has been counted that Emeka Ike has acted in over 60 Nollywood movies, including Right Man for Me, Passion and Pain, Passions, Queen Sheba, Not Man Enough, Two Become One {1,2}, I Want Your Wife {1, 2}, Foreign Affairs {1, 2}, Divided Kingdom {1, 2} and others.

The actor got married to his beautiful half-Dutch half-Nigerian wife, Suzanne, since 2000 but their marriage hit the rocks a couple of months ago.
Recently, it seemed like the divorce scandal between the actor and his wife purportedly took a different twist as he revealed in an interview that there had been two attempts to kill him and both times, he escaped unscathed.
