Every man is a potential rapist – Zimbabwean Police Chief says
Zimbabwean police chief Inspector Precious Simango has come out to say that all men are potential rapist. She stated that there is a high tendency that young girls left alone with male relatives are prone to being abused. She disclosed this to Chronicle Newspaper while reacting to Domestic and Sexual abuse in Zimbabwe. Every man is a potential rapist – Zimbabwean Police Chief says.
I must say that I completely support her claim although I am not one to over generalize. Growing up, close family friends whom my parents trusted with I and my siblings have tried more than once to rape me.

“We want to reiterate that every male is a potential rapist and as such we want to warn the public not to leave the girl child under the guardianship of male relatives.”
Some men have reacted negatively to her statement but she is speaking the truth. When I was in the University some of my friends nearly got raped because they visited a male friend in their home. These guys are people we eat from the same plate with and respect. People you can swear are incapable of such actions. Abeg, if you hear story your ear go tingle.
I have not being able to trust anyone after my experiences growing up. During my days on university campus, no matter how close I was to a guy, I would never agree to visit them in their homes. Either we hang out in public or we can quit being friends.
