After trekking for Buhari in 2015, man seek financial help for treatment

A man Dahiru Buba who trekked to celebrate the victory of President Muhamamdu Buhari’s in 2015 presidential election has cried out for help over the continues pain on his legs.

In the aftermath of the 2015 presidential polls, Buba set out on a journey by foot from Gombe, the Gombe State capital to Abuja in central Nigeria. For 15 days on foot, Buba walked the trip to celebrate Buhari’s electoral victory.

Several years after the well publicised stunt, Buba is now suffering from severe limb pains and is seeking assistance for treatment, Daily Trust report

The native of Dukku Local Government Area of Gombe said the trekking fetched him nothing but a certificate from Governor Mai Mala Buni the then APC National Secretary.

He appealed to Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State and the party’s stakeholders to come to his aid.

Buba said: “Since the time I conducted the trekking, the limb pain is growing by the day.

“I am appealing to my governor, Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State and the party leadership to help me look for medical assistance.”

Buba pointed out how life is becoming unbearable for him as the joint pain persists, saying that he cannot even pay his children’s school fees.
