Don Jazzy launches free Wifi service in Lagos
The CEO of Mavin Records, Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, has launched a free Wifi service in Lagos State.
The free Wifi access called Flobyt, will be provided to persons around specific areas in the state.
The venture is a partnership between Don Jazzy and entrepreneur Dele Odufuye.
Many have described the venture as a nice move but wondered why it will only be accessible to persons ‘in specific areas’.
Fans have however urged the 34-year-old beat maker to ‘share the money’ and the ‘wifi’.
Techpoint gives a breakdown of the business venture, indicating that Flobyt is a free WiFi service installed across partner locations in Lagos like eateries, parks, taxis, buses, restaurants, cafés and many other businesses.

The service is free for patrons of a business who wish to access the internet while in the premises of the patron locations.
According to the founders, the internet router itself is a plug-and-play device that does not require much technical know-how to operate.
