The President of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Labrador has tested positive for Covid-19
The news was revealed on Sunday evening via his official Twitter account.
The President will continue with his duties while working from the Presidential villa.
Andreas Manuel is set to attend a phone call meeting with Russian President, Vladimir Putin. Both parties will be discussing the supply of the Sputnik vaccine to Mexico.

The Secretary of the interior, Dr. Olga Sanchez will represent the president at daily briefings for now.
Mexico is one of the countries that has been hit hardest by the Coronavirus. The North American country has recorded almost 2 million Covid-19 cases and 149,084 deaths.
