The CEO however claimed that does who volunteer for the exploration may not survive
Billionaire, Elon Musk has been very vocal about his dream of a civilization on Mars but even he doesn’t expect the dream to come easy.

During an interview with XPrize founder Peter Diamandis, Musk revealed that not everyone who sets of for the space exploration project will come back alive.
The billionaire revealed that the company won’t be forcing anyone to go and would only accept volunteers.
Musk has been intentional about his dream of a human colony on Mars for two decades.
This was the basis of the company Space X. One of the visions of the company is to eventually create technology that can transport humans to Mars.

This is not the first time that Musk has warned people about this exploration.
During a virtual conference in August, he told people that there is a good chance of death for the early explorers.
Although Musk has indicated his plans to live on Mars one day, he didn’t indicate if he’ll be among the early explorers.

Mars is a lethal place for humans to inhabit at the moment. People can be killed by radiation or exposure to elements.
This has however not stopped Elon Musk from going ahead with his plans of creating a Mars travel space ship.
