The co-founder of Ethereum Vitalik Buterin has been ridding his wallet of Dogecoin copycat meme coins.
The cryptocurrency enthusiast has reportedly sold off more than $4.3 million worth of dog-themed cryptocurrencies in recent times.
Some of the meme cryptocurrencies were also used to purchase tokens from Proof of Humanity’s UBI initiative and burn them.
Proof of Humanity is social verification system for humans that is based on the ethereum blockchain.
The Russian cryptocurrency pioneer has sold off 6 meme cryptocurrencies that were deposited in his Ethereum wallet.
Some of the coins that he has traded off recently include Aidi Inu, Jejudoge, and HuskyToken.
The sale of these cryptocurrencies has caused a significant drop in their values, with Baby Shiba recording a price dip of 72 percent.

This is not the first time that Vitalik Buterin will swap a meme coin to invest in areas relating to community service.
Back in May, the Ethereum founder donated $1 billion worth of Shiba Inu tokens after which the meme coin’s value came down.
