English football giants Manchester United are reportedly set to announce a training kit sponsorship deal in partnership with blockchain company Tezos.
According to the Athletic, both parties have agreed to a deal in the excess of £20 million, that will make Tezos adorn the club’s training gear.
The new deal comes after United’s training kit deal with Aon expired last season, leaving them with a blank kit so far this season.
According to the report, all the promotional materials for the deal have been shot and the club will announce the deal in the coming hours.

Based on the description on its website, Tezos describes itself as:
“an open-source platform that addresses key barriers facing blockchain adoption for assets and applications backed by a global community of validators, researchers, and builders”.
United’s latest kit deal comes after a failed £200 million agreement with The Hut Group last year.
It becomes the second premier league club to sign a sponsorship deal with a blockchain company after Watford signed with Dogecoin in the 2021-2022 season.
