In April this year, the inventor of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto entered an exclusive list of the top 20 richest billionaires in the world as Bitcoin skyrocketed to $64,000.

The increase in wealth was short-lived as the cryptocurrency plummeted to have that value within the next two months.

In October again, Bitcoin has recovered to $62,000 pushing the Nakamoto into that exclusive list again.

Going by today’s exchange rate and the current value of Bitcoin, the crypto inventor is worth over $62 billion.

Within the last five months, Nakamoto has gone from being the 159th richest person in the globe to 20th on the list.

It is estimated that Satoshi Nakamoto owns around 1 million BTC which was acquired within the first year of the coin’s existence.

The interesting thing about the billionaire’s crypto assets is that they have been left untouched for years.

This has led many to believe that the bitcoin inventor may be dead. Although others are of the opinion that the creator remains alive with access to his stash.
