The third-biggest Bitcoin holder in the world has purchased an additional 2,700 BTC worth $137 million to his portfolio.
The purchase was made on Tuesday after Bitcoin reached a critical support level of $50,000.
Bitcoin whales have been letting go of the asset over the past week, which played a huge role in the crash of the cryptocurrency below $50,000.
Swinging against the tide, this huge holder bet on the flagship cryptocurrency to rise despite the setback on Saturday.
According to BitInfoCharts, the Whale has been buying some amount of Bitcoin over the past month but his recent acquisition is the largest purchase made in the wallet.

VentureFounders disclosed that the wallet has put $2.5 billion into buying the flagship cryptocurrency at an average price of $21,160.
At the time of this report, Bitcoin is trading at $50,216, after faintly recovering from the recent market crash.
