After a minor setback in the cryptocurrency market yesterday, a recent rally has set the marker back on track.
Flagship cryptocurrency, Bitcoin spiked to an intraday high of $43,124 on Tuesday morning, with the leading crypto now roughly 10% up in the past week.
The recent crypto resurgence has also pushed the value of the Ethereum token above the $3,000 psychological barrier as it added more than 5% this morning.
Leading altcoins based on market capitalization are all in the green, asides from LUNA, the native cryptocurrency of the Terra blockchain.
Cardano (ADA) is the biggest gainer among the top 10 cryptocurrencies after enjoying a 7.8% price spike. The recent gain has pushed the crypto asset closer to the much-coveted $1 mark.
Polkadot (DOT) dubbed the Ethereum killer has also added more than 7% in the past 24 hours, breaking above $20.
ApeCoin (APE), the recently launched Ethereum token of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT collection is currently trading at $11.38 after adding 10%.
The total value of the cryptocurrency market is currently sitting at $1.93 trillion but this is significantly less than the $3 trillion all-time high mark attained in November.
