Nigerian billionaires Aliko Dangote, Abdulsamad Rabiu, and Mike Adenuga have made the ranking of the richest people in Africa that was released by Forbes.

The three billionaires have a joint net worth of $27.6 billion, accounting for 32.5% of the wealth on the list.
According to the report, the wealth of African billionaires grew by 15% from last year, despite the effect of the pandemic.
The continent’s richest 18 people now have a combined wealth of $84.9 billion, credited to rally in the stock prices of their company.

Aliko Dangote of Nigeria was the richest person on the list, with an estimated net worth of $13.9 billion, up from $12.1 billion last year.

Dangote is followed by Johann Rupert & Family ($11 billion), Nicky Oppenheimer ($8.7 billion), and Nassef Sawiris ($8.6 billion).

Abdulsamad Rabiu the second richest Nigerian on the list has a net worth of $7 billion, making him the fifth richest in Africa.
