The weekend was not a positive one for Flagship cryptocurrency Bitcoin as it slipped to $$43,119, its lowest price point since February 8.
Other major cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum and Binance coin were also affected by the slip. ETH dropped to $1292 and BNB, $200.
While many wonder if a turnaround will begin soon, another cryptocurrency had the tide turned in its favor.
Cardano (ADA) reached a new all-time high of $1.48 on Saturday, bringing its growth to 2000% in the last 12 months.
This sharp growth has seen ADA become the third-largest cryptocurrency in the world by Market capitalization, with a value of over $39 million.
Cardano was created in 2017 and backed by Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK). The crypto created by Ethereum co-founder, Charles Hoskinson serves as a competitor to ETH.
