
Lagos State To Stop The Use Of Danfo Buses
-Lagos State plans to the use of Yellow Buses commonly known as Danfo
-The state plans to replace the outgoing buses with blue buses
-Commissioner for Transportation claims that the yellow buses are not conducive for transportation
The Lagos state government plans to stop the use of Yellow buses as a part of its transportation plan.
Commissioner for Transportation Dr. Frederic Oladeinde while speaking at a virtual conference revealed that the buses will be replaced by larger blue buses.
Dr. Frederic Oladeinde says that Danfo buses are not conducive for a megacity like Lagos.

The state will also be inviting private companies to participate in the provision of public transport services.
The Commissioner sees technology as a big part of the future of Lagos’s transport system.

Dr. Frederic Oladeinde also commented on the state’s gridlock in the Apapa axis.
He claims that the government is committed to ending serious traffic by providing hectares of land as transit truck parks.
The government will also roll out a traffic application called the Eto app starting from February 27.
