Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is set to be the latest billionaire to visit space as his Blue Origin company announced a trip that has been slated for Tuesday, July 20.
The billionaire will be joined by his brother Mark Bezos and 82-year-old American pilot Wally Funk.
Also aboard the spacecraft will be 18 years old Oliver Daemen who comes in as a replacement for an anonymous ticket holder who won’t be going because of a “busy schedule”.
Bezos’ trip is set to happen after English billionaire Richard Branson completed a visit to space on his Virgin Galactic spacecraft.
The billionaire was aboard the Virgin Galactic Unity 22 on a trip that lasted approximately one hour. Some of the fantastic photos from his trip to space can be seen below.
Branson’s spacecraft reached an altitude of 53.5 miles and the billionaire spent 1 minute and 10 seconds in space.

Elon Musk is another billionaire who is a part of the billionaire space race.
Musk SpaceX has announced that an all-civilian space crew will be sent to space before the end of 2021.
