African payment fintech Flutterwave has announced today that the global star from Nigeria Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun AKA Wizkid has been signed as a Global Brand Ambassador.
The tech company announced the partnership with the artist while launching a remittance solution called “Send”.
Send is aimed at increasing remittance flow and upon from overseas to African nations.
By collaborating with Wizkid, Send aims to reach Africans in the diaspora and increase awareness for its affordable and easy remittance solution.
While speaking about the partnership, Fltutterwave CEO Olugbenga “GB” Agboola said:
“Wizkid’s story is that of hard work, resilience, and excellence. The way he constantly represents Africa in the global entertainment stage is something we love. As a leading technology company out of Africa, our values align and we’re excited to have him join us to drive adoption for Send.”
